The Accuplacer placement exam is a computer-based test. The Accuplacer is untimed. However, you will have 2 1/2 hours to complete the test. If you do not complete the exam in this time, you may reschedule a time to return to the testing center and complete it.

The Accuplacer placement exam costs $25.50. Students will need to pay the cashier, located in Alexander Hall, prior to the exam. Bring your receipt to the Testing Center for your exam.

• The test registration fee ($25.50) is non-refundable.  
• Arrive at the Testing Center in the Library on the NCMC Main Campus at least 15 minutes prior to your test time.
• Bring a valid, unexpired driver's license or non-driver ID, state ID card, or NCMC student ID card to be permitted to take the exam.
